Berenika was born in the former Soviet-Union in 1984. In 1991, her family immigrated to Israel. She graduated from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, where she is a fellow of the prestigious Colton Foundation.

As the prize winner of the 2011 Arthur Rubinstein International Master Competition, Berenika also won the 2005 Isidor Bajic International Competition in Serbia, the 2008 Van Cliburn International Festival Concerto Competition, the 2008 Young Artist Competition of the Israeli Radio, among other prizes & awards.

In 2010, Berenika was called to replace the pianist Yuja Wang as the soloist of the Israel Philharmonic in a last minute notice. She performed Prokofieff’s 2nd piano concerto and received high public acclaim. The critics described her performance as "Hypnotic". Following her success, in 2011 Zubin Mehta invited her to play the Bartok 2nd piano concerto again with the Israel Philharmonic.

She has also performed with the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at the Piano Texas Van Cliburn International Festival, the Bucharest Philharmonic, the Bulgarian National Symphony Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and the Kazakhstan National Symphony Orchestra among many others.

Berenika has performed in many prestigious concert halls such as the Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires, Argentina), the Mann Auditorium (Tel Aviv, Israel), the Royal Academy Concert Hall (London, UK), the Bass Hall (Cleveland, OH, USA), the Gran Rex (Buenos Aires, Argentina), the RDS Hall (Dublin, Ireland), the Teatro del Sodre (Montevideo, Uruguay) and many others.
